Family & Youth Outreach Program

Overview

The PEFHT Family and Youth Outreach Nurse is available to address the health needs of the
families and the youth of our community. The PEFHT Family and Youth Outreach
Nurse provides education and support for expectant and new mothers and advises
them in the care of their infants and children. She is also available for the
health care needs of young adults. Her services are provided in both the home
and the clinical setting.

Services and Support Provided

Reproductive Health: Preconceptual, prenatal and postnatal

Child Health: Newborn, early childhood

Youth Health: Sexual health, young moms to be and parents    

Breastfeeding Services: Protect, promote and support
